A Major Investment Trend Towards Owning Residential Units

A report by Al Asmakh

Real Estate Projects Company stated that the Lusail City project will continue its urban expansion during the current year. The report pointed out that the price per square foot in the area has reached favorable levels for sale, driven by increased inquiries from both Qatari and foreign investors interested in owning residential apartments in this area. The region has garnered significant attention from the government, which has equipped it with various services, numerous facilities, and a wide range of modern transportation options. Additionally, the city includes hospitality, commercial, and entertainment facilities.

The report highlighted

that construction in Lusail City is proceeding rapidly and strongly, noting that the project is an integral part of Qatar’s major development initiatives. It further mentioned that Qatari Diar offers various facilities and incentives to encourage investors to invest in Lusail City. The city is presented as a fully integrated community featuring the largest mall in Qatar within the entertainment district, alongside the opening of several entertainment projects, most notably Lusail Boulevard, all of which will contribute to attracting investors.

The report explained

that the city’s infrastructure services are routed through a network of tunnels beneath the main roads, ensuring that any maintenance in the future can be conducted within these tunnels without the need to dig up roads, repave them, or disrupt traffic flow. As a result, repair and maintenance work will not affect the city's smooth functioning or the convenience of its residents. It also noted that Lusail City has a gas distribution network through pipelines covering its entire area. Additionally, the city’s electricity is supplied by a main power station and several substations, all of which have been designed and installed underground within the tunnels.

Furthermore, the report

revealed that Lusail City employs advanced cooling systems. Instead of relying on traditional air conditioning units, the city will provide air conditioning to residential, commercial, and entertainment buildings through a water-cooled system via a network of underground pipes in the Marina District, carefully designed for safety and efficiency. This cooling system will be managed, operated, and maintained by a dedicated service provider.
