QAR 39 Million: The Highest Real Estate Deal in Baaya Area
Weekly Real Estate Market Report in Qatar by Keet Real Estate
Keet Real Estate, in its weekly report on real estate transactions in Qatar, revealed that the last week of December witnessed a significant decline in both the volume and value of real estate transactions. This trend extends the downturn observed in previous weeks. The total value of residential transactions, including residential and commercial buildings and shops, reached 148.7 million Qatari riyals through 32 transactions, with 4 deals conducted in Umm Salal Municipality worth 10.15 million Qatari riyals.
Top Real Estate Deals
The highest transaction was for a mixed-use commercial and residential building in Baaya, Al Rayyan Municipality, valued at 38.6 million Qatari riyals, with a land area of 1,520 square meters and a sale price of 2,359 Qatari riyals per square foot.
Additionally, Al Rayyan Municipality recorded another major deal involving a vacant land plot sold for 30 million Qatari riyals, with an area of 9,117 square meters at a price of 306 Qatari riyals per square foot.
Residential Unit Transactions
Keet Real Estate also analyzed data from the Ministry of Justice regarding residential unit transactions, which amounted to 41.6 million Qatari riyals through 26 sales deals during the last week of December.
In The Pearl, 8 transactions were completed with a total value of 15.1 million Qatari riyals, where the price per square meter ranged between 10,128 and 16,400 Qatari riyals.
In Lusail 69, 13 transactions were recorded with a total value of 17.6 million Qatari riyals, with the price per square meter ranging between 10,000 and 22,000 Qatari riyals.
Meanwhile, 5 transactions were completed in Ghar Thaileb, Latifiya, and Rawdat Egdaim areas, amounting to 7.2 million Qatari riyals.
