Qatar’s Real Estate Transactions Near QAR 1.86 Billion in July
The value of real estate transactions under sale contracts registered with the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice reached QAR 1.86 billion in July 2026, through 485 real estate transactions.
The analytical real estate bulletin issued by the Ministry of Justice showed a 10% increase in the real estate transaction value index compared with the previous month, along with an increase in the traded property area index.
Doha, Al Rayyan, and Al Daayen municipalities topped the list in terms of transaction value. Doha recorded approximately QAR 763.8 million, followed by Al Rayyan with QAR 461.4 million, and Al Daayen with QAR 230.3 million.
In terms of the number of transactions, Doha ranked first with 28% of total properties sold, followed by Al Rayyan at 20%, and Al Daayen at 18%.
Mortgage transactions totaled 212 deals during July, with a combined value of approximately QAR 4.97 billion, while residential units recorded 114 transactions worth a total of QAR 197.8 million.
These indicators reflect the continued strength of Qatar’s real estate sector, supported by regulatory and legislative developments and incentives that enhance the market’s appeal to local and foreign investors.
