Al Asmakh: Demand for Mid-Rent Residential Units Continues to Grow
A report by Al Asmakh Real Estate Development Company confirmed that residential units with mid-range rental values account for a significant share of demand in Qatar’s real estate market, supported by their wide availability across different areas of the country and the variety of options offered to tenants.
The report noted that a large segment of tenants is increasingly seeking units that provide a balance between affordable rent, housing quality, location, and available services, highlighting the growing importance of these factors in residential decisions.
Demand for this category is driven by a broad base of tenants, particularly families and employees looking for housing options that fit their budgets and meet their needs in terms of space and unit type, while their availability in several areas provides greater flexibility based on workplaces and daily requirements.
The report also highlighted that “value for money” has become an important factor influencing demand, with tenants considering property quality, maintenance standards, parking availability, as well as access to educational, healthcare, and commercial facilities and convenient connectivity to road networks and business districts.
