QatarEnergy Awards QAR 342.3 Million Offshore Well Stimulation Services Contract

The contract includes the provision of a specialized offshore well stimulation vessel, supported by skilled personnel, equipment, and chemicals to efficiently carry out call-off operations.

QatarEnergy has awarded a new drilling and completions contract for the provision of an offshore well stimulation vessel, along with the equipment and technical services required to support offshore operations, at a value of QAR 342.257 million.

The contract was awarded to Schlumberger Overseas S.A. and covers the provision of a stimulation vessel, skilled personnel, specialized equipment, and chemicals to carry out offshore well stimulation services on a call-off basis.

The contract will run for 64 months, including an initial four-month mobilization period. It will become effective on 1 August 2026 and is scheduled for completion on 30 November 2031.

The project forms part of QatarEnergy’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of offshore drilling and completion operations while ensuring the availability of specialized services that support sustainable oil and gas production.
