The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a partial nighttime closure at Souq Al Wakra Intersection on Al Jabal Street, while keeping the remaining directions of the intersection open to traffic. The closure will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The authority stated that the closure is necessary to carry out final asphalt layer works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. Ashghal urged motorists coming from Doha, Al Wakra, and Al Jabal Street to use alternative routes to reach their destinations during the closure period, as indicated on the attached map.
