Kahramaa Launches the Third Phase of Its Long-Term Strategy Through 2030
The third phase marks a qualitative shift in the operating model, accelerating digital transformation and strengthening resource sustainability.

The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has launched the third phase of its long-term strategy for 2026–2030 under the theme “Leading Practices Phase,” marking a strategic update that reflects the corporation’s evolution and readiness for the next stage.

In a statement, Kahramaa noted that this phase builds on the strategic path it has pursued since 2014, with its long-term strategy serving as a roadmap for sustainability, improved institutional performance, and the strengthening of a strategic work culture. The corporation confirmed that it successfully completed the first and second phases, achieving significant progress in institutional readiness and the implementation of key transformation projects.

Kahramaa also emphasized its commitment to advancing an ambitious portfolio of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing its operating model, improving performance efficiency, accelerating digital transformation, and strengthening resource sustainability.

Eng. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Theyab, President of Kahramaa, stated that the launch of the third phase reflects the corporation’s commitment to institutional excellence and reinforces its position as a leading entity in the electricity and water sectors. He added that the new phase represents a qualitative shift aligned with Qatar’s aspirations and comprehensive development goals.
