The Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) has inaugurated a state-of-the-art logistics center dedicated to vehicles, transportation equipment, and spare parts at Umm Alhoul Free Zone, marking a new milestone in its strategic partnership with Alfardan Automotive, established in 2021.
Spanning over 67,000 square meters, with 12,860 square meters of built-up area, the new facility is designed to provide comprehensive logistics services — including vehicle storage, transport operations, and integrated supply chain support — built to world-class standards.
H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al Thani, CEO of QFZ, stated that the opening of the Alfardan Automotive Trading Center reinforces Qatar’s commitment to advancing its automotive and logistics sectors and strengthens its position as a regional trade hub, particularly given its proximity to Hamad Port.
Meanwhile, Mr. Omar Hussain Alfardan, Managing Director of Alfardan Corporation, emphasized that the new logistics center represents a strategic step to enhance operational capabilities, support dealer networks, and contribute to Qatar’s economic growth and regional logistics leadership.
The Qatar Free Zones Authority continues to expand its Transport Industries Cluster, attracting leading global companies and innovators in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 for a diversified and sustainable economy.
