The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary nightly closure at the Al Shahimiya Intersection along the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor, affecting:

• Two lanes for traffic coming from Haloul Intersection towards Al Shahimiya Street and the U-turn lane.
• One lane for traffic coming from Bu Hamour Intersection towards Bu Hamour Street and the U-turn lane.

🕛 Closure Period: From Friday, 26 September 2025 to Sunday, 19 October 2025, scheduled as follows:

• 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. (weekdays).
• 2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (Fridays).
• 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Saturdays).

Ashghal confirmed that this diversion is carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic to complete maintenance and development works on the corridor.

The authority urged road users to follow the directional signs and use the alternative routes provided on the attached map to reach their destinations safely.
