Serving 33,000 Residential Plots for Citizens

A report by Osmaikh Real Estate Projects highlighted Qatar’s continued efforts in implementing development projects aimed at upgrading residential areas and citizens’ land plots, with an allocated financial flow estimated at QAR 35 billion to serve 33,413 housing plots across 32 different areas.

The report noted significant progress by the authorities in delivering services to thousands of residential plots in 12 areas, with 7,833 plots already served out of a total of 18,870 plots planned upon project completion.

In the western areas, 1,015 plots have been serviced under the Al-Ma’arad and Southwest Al-Muaither projects.

In the southern areas, 1,248 plots have been served across South Al-Mashaf, West Al-Wakra, and West Al-Mashaf.

In the northern areas, a total of 5,570 serviced plots are located in Al-Ab, La’ibib, Al-Kharitiyat, Izghawa, North and East Al-Kheesa, Al-Khor, West Simaisma, West Umm Slal Ali, Umm Al-Obairiya, South Umm Al-Amad, North Bu Faseela, and Umm Slal Mohammed.

According to the report, these projects will significantly stimulate the real estate sector, increase investment and construction activity, and boost demand for land. Additionally, ongoing road development projects will enhance traffic flow and infrastructure efficiency, further driving demand for contracting services and building materials such as cement and steel, ultimately benefiting real estate developers and the wider construction sector.
