Qatar’s Public Works Authority “Ashghal” has unveiled a list of upcoming projects expected to be tendered in the third and fourth quarters of 2025, with a strong focus on school infrastructure development.
Q3 2025 Projects Include:
Supervision of the demolition and reconstruction of 4 schools (Phase 2 and 3).
Design and implementation of fire safety system upgrades for 50 schools under Phase 2 of a larger project covering 140 schools.
Modifications and additional works for 16 existing schools, divided into two packages (8 schools each).
Demolition and reconstruction of two schools in Simaisma – the preparatory and secondary schools (Phase 3).
Demolition and rebuilding of two additional schools under Phase 2.
Q2 2025 Projects Included:
Supervision of the demolition and reconstruction of three schools: Osama Bin Zaid School, the Religious Institute, and Hatteen Model School, in addition to car park construction at schools in Al Wakrah (Package 1).
Modifications and additions to 16 existing schools.
Demolition and reconstruction of two schools: Muath Bin Jabal School and Rawdat Rashid School (Package 2).
Q4 2025 Plans:
Design and implementation of upgraded fire protection systems in 50 schools, as part of Phase 2 of the 140-school fire safety project.
