In collaboration with Microsoft, Ooredoo launches a strategic digital transformation and AI program

The partnership between Ooredoo and Microsoft paves the way for a smart digital ecosystem powered by artificial intelligence and advanced cloud computing.

Ooredoo has launched a strategic digital transformation and artificial intelligence program in collaboration with Microsoft, aiming to accelerate its evolution into an AI-powered technology company and strengthen digital innovation in Qatar.

The program is built on sovereign and hybrid cloud technologies, AI enablement, and scalable technical infrastructure to support the development of advanced digital services, enhance customer experiences, and empower businesses.

The agreement was signed in the presence of HE Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Bin Mohammed Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, and Ahmad Al Dandashi, General Manager of Microsoft Qatar, along with senior executives from both companies.

Ooredoo stated that the collaboration combines its expertise in telecommunications and digital infrastructure with Microsoft’s advanced capabilities in cloud computing, data, and artificial intelligence, helping accelerate innovation and create new digital growth opportunities in Qatar and the region.

The two companies will also work together to develop scalable AI and cloud foundations that support smarter connectivity solutions, operational efficiency, and more personalized digital customer experiences.

According to Ooredoo, the initiative marks a strategic step toward transforming the company from a traditional telecom operator into an AI-powered technology company aligned with Qatar National Vision and the country’s digital transformation goals.
