The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a partial night-time closure at Souq Al Wakra intersection on Al Jebel Street, while keeping the remaining directions open to traffic, on February 10, 2026, from midnight until 5:00 AM, to carry out final asphalt layer works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

Ashghal urged road users coming from Doha, Al Wakra, or Al Jebel Street to use alternative routes to reach their destinations during the closure period, according to the specified traffic guidance.
