Festival 2025 FinTech Conference Concludes
"The conference reaffirmed its position as a leading platform driving innovation and digital transformation in the finance and insurance sectors across the MENA region."

The Middle East and North Africa FinTech and InsurTech Conference & Exhibition 2025 concluded its fourth edition successfully at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The two-day event brought together global and regional leaders in financial services, insurance, technology, innovation, and regulation to explore the future of digital finance and insurance across the MENA region.

This year’s edition expanded its scope by combining financial technology and digital insurance under one platform, creating an active hub for business networking among startups, investors, insurers, financial institutions, regulators, and technology providers. This growth reflects the conference’s commitment to driving innovation, advancing financial and insurance inclusion, and supporting digital transformation across the region.

The opening ceremony featured a keynote speech by the Director-General and CEO of Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), who highlighted the rising impact of mobile-driven innovation, artificial intelligence, open banking, and embedded finance in reshaping global financial systems and promoting financial inclusion in Africa, the MENA region, and the developing world. He also discussed the emergence of the “Bank 4.0” model and called for establishing a unified digital corridor for FinTech.

The conference program included keynote addresses, panel discussions, side conversations, and hands-on workshops covering emerging topics such as Real-World Assets (RWA), the role of AI in Islamic FinTech, and developments in digital banking.
