Qatar Airways Group has announced the launch of a new route to Hail, Saudi Arabia, starting January 5, 2026, with three weekly flights.
The announcement was made by Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Group Chief Executive Officer, during the session “Tourism Renaissance: A New Era of Impact and Achievement” at the TOURISE 2025 Summit held in Riyadh.
With this addition, Qatar Airways will serve 13 destinations across Saudi Arabia. The airline will also increase its daily flights to Jeddah and Riyadh from six to seven flights per day.
Al Meer noted that Qatar Airways’ network now covers all major regions of the Kingdom, having connected over 2.5 million passengers in Saudi Arabia over the past 12 months to its global destinations.
This expansion follows a year of strong operational growth in Saudi Arabia, including the resumption of Abha flights and the launch of the Red Sea route in October — making Qatar Airways the first international airline to connect the Red Sea destination to over 170 global cities.
The new Hail route further strengthens Qatar Airways’ presence in the Kingdom, bringing its total operations to over 150 weekly flights across Saudi Arabia.
