The Public Works Authority “Ashghal” has announced a full closure of the Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange tunnel on Khalifa Street for traffic coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan towards Doha. The closure will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

Ashghal advised motorists to use the Gharrafat Al Rayyan signalized intersection as an alternative route during the closure, noting that the measure is temporary and aims to regulate traffic flow and ensure smooth movement.
