The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has announced the opening of nominations for the 9th edition of the Qatar Digital Business Awards (QDBA) 2025, with the deadline set for 24 August 2025.
The award aims to honor outstanding companies and institutions that provide innovative digital solutions contributing to the advancement of Qatar’s national digital economy, while reinforcing the country’s leading position in ICT and digital innovation.
The award categories include:
- Large Enterprises: Best Company in Digital Transformation, Best AI Solution, Best Digital Experience, and Best ICT Service Provider.
- SMEs: Best Digital Experience, Best Company in Digital Transformation, Best Startup of the Year, Best AI Solution, and Fastest Growing Company of the Year.
- All Companies: Excellence in Research & Development, Best Smart Solution, and Best Cybersecurity Solution.
- Individuals: Entrepreneur of the Year.
Ms. Reem Mohammed Al Mansoori, Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Industry Affairs, highlighted that the award reflects the ministry’s vision to build a diverse and innovative digital economy, aligned with the Digital Agenda 2030. The initiative aims to foster innovative projects, promote competitiveness, and strengthen public-private collaboration in adopting impactful digital solutions.
This year, the award will honor 13 winners, one for each category, selected after a thorough evaluation by an independent judging panel of leading experts. Five finalists from each category will be shortlisted for interviews before the winners are announced at the official award ceremony.
