The latest edition of Project Qatar 2025, one of the region's leading trade exhibitions in the construction and infrastructure sectors, officially kicked off yesterday under the theme: "Innovation and Sustainability: The Road to Qatar National Vision 2030." Held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) until May 29, the event is organized by IFP Qatar and features the participation of over 200 local and international companies.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of high-level dignitaries, including H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Thani and H.E. Hernán Lombardi, Minister of Economic Development in Buenos Aires Province, along with ambassadors from participating nations.
With the official support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and strategic partnership with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), the event is further backed by numerous government entities, semi-government organizations, and major private sector players.
Haydar Mshaimesh, General Manager of IFP Qatar, emphasized the growing trust in Qatar’s market, highlighting the country’s transition into a new phase focused on industrial and social infrastructure projects, integrating advanced technologies and smart city solutions.
This year’s edition introduces the Qatar Smart Manufacturing Expo, showcasing innovations aligned with Industry 4.0—including automation, robotics, AI, IoT, smart logistics, and digital manufacturing—supporting the national manufacturing strategy (2024–2030).
Argentina is featured as Guest Country under the Years of Culture initiative, bringing a delegation of tech and trade startups to explore investment and cultural ties. The event also hosts the Nile Property Expo in Doha for the first time.
The exhibition’s accompanying conference features more than 70 expert speakers across a wide range of sessions, covering smart cities, sustainable production, green economies, and support for youth-driven innovation.
