Qatar's Real Estate Transactions Surpass QAR 1.69 Billion in June
Qatar's real estate market recorded more than QAR 1.692 billion in property sales during June 2026, according to the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice. The monthly report showed 541 real estate transactions, reflecting the market's continued strong performance.
The analytical real estate bulletin indicated that the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, and Al Wakrah recorded the highest transaction values, followed by Al Daayen, Umm Salal, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Al Shamal, and Al Sheehaniya.
According to the Real Estate Market Index, Doha recorded transactions worth approximately QAR 649.1 million, followed by Al Rayyan with QAR 418.4 million, and Al Wakrah with QAR 236.2 million, while the remaining transactions were distributed across other municipalities.
The report also showed that Al Rayyan, Doha, and Al Wakrah accounted for the largest share of traded land areas during June. In terms of the number of properties sold, Al Rayyan and Doha each represented 25% of total transactions, followed by Al Wakrah with 23%.
Mortgage activity also remained strong, with 109 mortgage transactions valued at more than QAR 3.078 billion, while Doha Municipality recorded the highest number and value of mortgage deals.
The residential property segment registered 150 transactions worth QAR 232.68 million, marking an increase compared to May 2026.
The Ministry of Justice noted that Qatar's real estate sector continues to demonstrate solid growth, supported by active investment, a favorable regulatory environment, and legislation that enhances investor confidence and reinforces the market's long-term resilience.
