Real estate transactions exceed QAR 550 million in a week in Qatar

A new surge in real estate transactions reflects continued momentum and strong investor confidence in the Qatari market.

The real estate sector in Qatar recorded transactions exceeding QAR 550 million during the period from April 26 to 30, according to data from the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice.

The value of registered sales contracts reached approximately QAR 452.4 million, while residential unit transactions totaled nearly QAR 98 million, bringing the total weekly real estate trading volume to around QAR 550.4 million.

The traded properties included vacant land plots, houses, residential buildings, a residential complex, and various residential units.

Sales activity was concentrated in the municipalities of Al Rayyan, Doha, Al Daayen, Umm Salal, Al Wakrah, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, and Al Sheehaniya, as well as key areas such as The Pearl Island, Al Dafna 60, Jabal Thuaileb, Lusail 69, Leqtaifiya, Al Kharayej, and Al Wakir.

This performance compares to transactions exceeding QAR 438 million during the previous week, reflecting a noticeable increase in real estate activity.
