The Ministry of Commerce and Industry organized the 2026 Planning Forum over three days, with the participation of supervisory leaders and employees from various sectors of the ministry. The forum aimed to strengthen the culture of institutional planning and enhance the readiness of ministry units to implement the objectives of the Third National Development Strategy (2024–2030) and the Ministry’s strategy for the same period.
In a statement, the ministry noted that the forum reflects its commitment to aligning operational plans with national priorities, unifying visions across departments, and ensuring integrated implementation of priority initiatives and projects for 2026.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Malki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, stated that 2025 marked a significant phase during which the ministry achieved notable accomplishments that contributed to improving the business environment, developing services, and enhancing investment attractiveness. He praised the efforts of work teams and the high level of coordination among the ministry’s sectors, which established a solid foundation for the implementation of the 2026 plan.
