Qatar Energy Awards Contract for UPS and Battery Charger Maintenance to EMCO Engineering

Qatar Energy has announced the award of a contract for the maintenance and repair of UPS systems, battery chargers, and battery banks at several of its operational sites to EMCO Engineering & Construction Co. W.L.L., with a total value of QAR 5,290,474.26.

The contract was awarded under Tender No. GT24105100, with Contract No. GC241051B0, and covers call-off based preventive and corrective maintenance services over a period of five years, starting from December 1, 2025 and ending on December 31, 2029.

The scope of work includes services across the following Qatar Energy locations:

1. Qatar Energy Operations in Mesaieed
2. Qatar Energy Refinery in Mesaieed
3. Qatar Energy Offshore Operations

Under the terms of the contract, the contractor will be responsible for providing all required manpower, testing equipment, tools, consumables, supervision, and other resources necessary to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the UPS systems and associated power infrastructure.

This contract reflects Qatar Energy’s ongoing commitment to maintaining operational excellence and ensuring uninterrupted power supply in its critical facilities, in partnership with qualified and experienced service providers.
