Ministry of Municipality launches new digital services for the urban planning sector
The Ministry of Municipality has launched a new package of electronic services for the Urban Planning Affairs sector through its official website, as part of its digital transformation efforts aimed at simplifying procedures and enabling users to complete their transactions easily and around the clock.
The new services include a range of land management transactions, such as lifting restrictive conditions, registering conditional land under heirs’ names, converting land from one system to another, transferring restrictive conditions, issuing replacement title deeds for lost documents, and completing and tracking land-related procedures. The services also cover surveying functions, including survey reports and the numbering of streets, intersections, squares, and parks.
The ministry explained that users can benefit from these services by logging into the official website using the National Authentication System (NAS), selecting the required service, entering the necessary data, and uploading any required documents. Applications can then be submitted and tracked through the user’s personal account.
The ministry emphasized that the launch of these services aims to unify and simplify land-related procedures, reduce the need for in-person visits and paper documentation, and enhance digital integration between relevant entities, thereby improving user experience and supporting the country’s digital transformation efforts.
