Major Tourism Projects Boost Qatar’s Real Estate Market Appeal
A report issued by Al Asmakh Real Estate Development stated that Qatar continues implementing major tourism and real estate projects that are reshaping the urban and investment landscape while strengthening the country’s position as a leading regional destination for tourism and investment.
The report explained that Qatar has witnessed significant expansion in hospitality and tourism projects over recent years, alongside continuous development of infrastructure, transportation networks, and public services, creating an integrated environment that supports the growth of both the tourism and real estate sectors.
Among the most prominent projects under development are the Simaisma integrated tourism project, as well as Lusail City and Qetaifan North Island, which feature hotels, resorts, entertainment facilities, waterfront destinations, and modern residential and commercial developments.
The report added that these projects contribute to creating integrated urban destinations that combine residential, hospitality, commercial, and entertainment components, enhancing investment value and opening new opportunities for investors and real estate developers.
It further noted that the continued development of major tourism projects reflects Qatar’s strategic direction toward economic diversification and increasing the contribution of non-oil sectors, while also supporting hospitality, retail, transport, and entertainment activities.
The report emphasized that ongoing cooperation between government entities and the private sector is helping enhance tourism infrastructure and improve hospitality services in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, reinforcing Qatar’s competitiveness on both regional and international levels.
