QatarEnergy Awards Offshore Mud Services Contract Worth QAR 215.8 Million
A new contract strengthens offshore drilling efficiency and supports sustainable production at QatarEnergy.

QatarEnergy has awarded a major contract in the drilling and completions sector for the provision of mud chemicals, equipment, and engineering services to support its offshore operations.

Valued at approximately QAR 215.8 million, the contract covers a comprehensive range of services, including mud engineering, supply of chemical materials and consumables, provision of specialized personnel, tools and equipment, laboratory services, transportation, storage, logistics, and the establishment and maintenance of Qatar-based support facilities.

The contract was awarded to a consortium comprising Baker Hughes EHO Holdings LLC and Aquachemie Venture Gulf Chemical Technologies LLC. The total contract duration is 64 months, including an initial four-month mobilization and inspection period.

The contract is set to commence on 3 January 2026 and run until 2 May 2031, reinforcing QatarEnergy’s offshore operational capabilities and supporting its long-term energy development strategy.
