Qatar’s weekly property market from April 19-22 has witnessed a tight grip by land lot sales where they generated up to QR258.2m, or 61.2 percent of the total sales volume, whilst buildings of all types generated up to QR163.6m, or 38.8 percent of the total sales, according to Ezdan Real Estate report.
During the period, registered property sales totaled QR421.8m and were distributed among 7 municipalities including Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, and Al Wakra.
The realty activity also included the sales of vacant lands, residences, multi-use buildings, multi-use land lots and residential buildings, according to data gleaned from the real estate bulletin released by the Real Estate Registration Department.
Doha Municipality ranked first in terms of value through the sale of a vacant land lot in Fereej Al Sudan at a value of QR103m. The land lot spans over an area of 30,903sqm and was sold at a price of QR310 per square foot.
Doha also has seen the sale of a vacant multipurpose land lot in Lusail area, at QR51.6m, extending over an area of 7,375sqm, and the square foot stood at QR650.
