Woqod Reports 4.5% Decline in Net Profit for the First Half of the Year

Qatar Fuel Company (Woqod), a publicly listed company on the Qatar Stock Exchange, reported a 4.5% decrease in net profit for the first half of 2025, amounting to QAR 460.4 million, compared to QAR 481.9 million during the same period last year.

According to the company’s financial results published on the QSE website today, earnings per share (EPS) dropped to QAR 0.46 for the period ending June 30, 2025, down from QAR 0.48 in H1 2024.

Mr. Saad Rashid Al-Muhannadi, CEO and Managing Director of Woqod, announced that the Board of Directors has approved an interim cash dividend of QAR 0.40 per share. The dividend will be payable to shareholders registered as of the close of trading on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, and will be managed by Edaa, the Qatar Central Securities Depository.
