Highlighting Real Estate Investment Opportunities at MIPIM 2025

The Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar) and the General Authority for Regulating the Real Estate Sector (Aqarat) have successfully concluded their participation in the MIPIM 2025 International Real Estate Exhibition, one of the world’s leading real estate events, held annually in Cannes, France.

The Qatar Pavilion attracted significant interest from global investors and real estate leaders, offering them the opportunity to explore Qatar’s thriving real estate market, discover the latest developments in the sector, and learn about investment opportunities in the country. The pavilion showcased some of Qatar’s top real estate developers, including United Development Company (UDC) and Qetaifan Projects, presenting innovative and sustainable projects that reflect Qatar’s commitment to smart urban development.

This participation aligns with Qatar’s National Real Estate Promotion Strategy, which aims to diversify the economy, enhance sustainable development, and attract foreign investments.

The exhibition welcomed over 20,000 participants from more than 90 countries, including prominent investors, real estate developers, and key decision-makers from the global real estate industry. Additionally, it hosted high-ranking government officials and sovereign wealth funds, which collectively manage assets worth €4 trillion.

Qatar’s real estate market is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country, recording a 34% growth between 2015 and 2023, along with a 50% increase in issued building permits.

Qatar’s investment environment benefits from its strategic location, offering exceptional global connectivity, as well as exclusive real estate residency benefits. The country’s robust economy is projected to reach $288 billion by 2027. Additionally, progressive regulatory frameworks and ongoing infrastructure investments continue to enhance Qatar’s attractiveness as a prime destination for both local and international investors.

It is worth noting that IPA Qatar, established in 2019, oversees foreign investment promotion and attraction activities in the country. The agency aims to position Qatar as a leading investment hub by attracting projects that support sustainable economic development.
