Qatar Showcases Real Estate Investment Opportunities at MIPIM 2025 in France

The Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar) and the General Authority for Regulating the Real Estate Sector are participating in the MIPIM 2025 International Real Estate Exhibition, a leading global real estate event held in Cannes, France. This participation aims to highlight the thriving real estate sector in Qatar and present promising investment opportunities through a dedicated Qatar pavilion.

The pavilion serves as a platform bringing together major real estate developers, including the United Development Company (UDC) and Qetaifan Projects, alongside global investors, experts, and developers. It showcases the sector’s growth, business-friendly regulations, and key government initiatives designed to enhance its appeal. One of the most notable initiatives is the General Authority for Regulating the Real Estate Sector’s Strategy, launched in December 2024, which aligns with Qatar’s National Development Strategy 2024-2030. This strategy aims to regulate, stimulate, and advance the real estate sector, reinforcing Qatar’s position as a leading investment destination.

Commenting on this, Sheikh Ali Al-Waleed Al-Thani, CEO of IPA Qatar, stated:

"Our participation in MIPIM presents an ideal opportunity to connect with global investors and showcase the rapid growth of Qatar’s real estate sector, which is projected to maintain an annual growth rate of 4.1% by 2028. With a strong regulatory framework, a stable economy, and advanced infrastructure, we look forward to attracting more investments and further driving the sector’s prosperity."

Meanwhile, H.E. Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidly, Chairman of the General Authority for Regulating the Real Estate Sector, emphasized the significance of MIPIM 2025 as a key platform for engaging with industry leaders and investors seeking high-growth markets. He highlighted Qatar’s advanced real estate environment, supported by strong government regulations and a thriving economy, as a long-term sustainable investment destination.

In the same context, H.E. Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of Qetaifan Projects, noted that the company’s participation in the exhibition is a valuable opportunity to promote Qetaifan Island North as a world-class tourist destination, with a particular focus on Murial Waterpark.

Furthermore, Mr. Yousuf Salah Al-Jaida, CEO of United Development Company (UDC), expressed pride in showcasing the company’s landmark projects at MIPIM 2025 in France. He highlighted UDC’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, setting new benchmarks in urban development, as reflected in its remarkable achievements on The Pearl and Gewan Islands.
