Al-Attiyah Foundation Hosts First 2025 Webinar in Partnership with London Stock Exchange Group
The Al-Attiyah Foundation is set to host its first webinar of 2025 in collaboration with the London Stock Exchange Group, bringing together a distinguished panel of global experts to explore the intersection of energy and sustainability, as well as key trends and technologies shaping the global energy landscape.
Titled "The Role of Energy in Advancing the Global Sustainability Agenda," the webinar will feature discussions led by top industry experts and thought leaders. Among the speakers is Silvina Broggi, Director of Sustainable Finance at the London Stock Exchange Group, who will highlight the pivotal role of energy in supporting global climate strategies. She will be joined by Lucy Yu, CEO of Octopus Energy’s Net Zero Centre, and Mahika Sri Krishna, Senior Analyst at the Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Council, who will share their insights on the subject.
Key discussion points will include the role of innovation and emerging technologies in energy transition, strategies for decarbonizing challenging sectors such as aviation, shipping, and heavy industries, as well as policies and regulations aimed at improving energy efficiency and modernizing electricity grids to integrate renewable energy sources.
Additionally, the Al-Attiyah Foundation is preparing to host its first Quarterly CEO Roundtable Meeting of 2025, scheduled for February 25.
